CGN

The Canine Good Neighbour is a non-competitive test for all breeds and crossbreds. Dogs must pass a 12-step test  which involves various temperament and behaviour tests in order to earn this title.

The CGN evaluator will assess the handler’s ability to control the dog during the testing and also will evaluate the handler and dog’s relationship. The dogs are required to perform basic exercises while showing good manners in everyday situations.

The Saskatoon Kennel & Obedience Club has four qualified CGN Evaluators who often organize CGN tests.  Please watch this page and our Calendar for upcoming tests.

Please visit the Canadian Kennel Club website for further information on this program.

The SKOC will serve its membership and the community at large by giving support, understanding, help and guidance in all their canine-related endeavors.
